A unique taste

We just love researching. Roads less travelled by? We’re in! Our goal is to protect the fruit.

Selection

We have great respect for vineyards and wine cellars; we only use the finest grapes and we work with the right timing in a clean environment.

Tradition

We have been wine makers for centuries. . We like to think of ourselves as a wise grandpa but with the awareness and the knowledge of a modern man. We believe in keeping up with the times.

Aging

We have limited space and we need to age in bottle. Our wines are ready two years after we pick the grapes. Store the bottles well in your cellars and they will last for years.

Care

We are kind of nerdy: we do not follow standard protocols but we adjust and adapt to give you the best that we can.

Production

We only work with limited stocks, so you’ll understand if we ran out of a particular wine you like or if we have to skip a whole season. This is how we work, for you.

Amano

Amano Sparkling Wine

“Amano is an idea…
Amano is sharing…
Amano is dissidence…
Amano is looking further, in search of something that wasn’t there! After its original 2017 version, here is the second!
A friend is indispensable for producing Amano. In our case, his name is Damiano, and he lives in the Bergamo area. He’s not a winemaker, but he knows a great deal about wine and has a truckload of passion.
We created this wine together, interpreting Barbera in our own way. It is a Classic Method, aged 24 months on its lees up to now (April 2024), with refermentation from its own must, which had been frozen during soft pressing.
It’s bold yet friendly, imaginative, spontaneous, and generous, while also being rigorous, rich, and purposeful. It’s that kind of bubble, your trusted friend or the nutty one, depending on the occasion.”

Amano

“Amano is the wine of friendship. Every year it will change, as we do. Amano means sharing: every year it will be the result of the choice taken with those who wish to make this wine with us. Its fi rst harvest: we have a red wine with Croatina grapes and a small contribution of Barbera and Vespolina grapes. One vineyard only. In this case we used a dear friend’ s cellar (with his indi- genous yeasts). Another friend gave us the idea. They both know our area very well and it was exciting to share this new project with them, once back home from the Borgogna region. This wine wants to describe our territory to everyone. We don’t want to bore you telling how it has been made, but you can be sure the best has been made in order to enhance the high quality of our belo- ved territory.”

Amano Spumante
